In continuation of our Being Luisa collection narrative, we follow our Marchesa to the enchanting historical Island of Lido during the prestigious Venice Film Festival. Â
Our muse Luisa begins her day with a stroll in front of the iconic Hotel Excelsior, making a bold statement in a modern couture look—pairing her Being Luisa organic t-shirt with a Flamenco-inspired black lace ruffled skirt featuring a dramatic train. Later she stuns in a Burano lace detailed blouse and a long silk couture skirt for her Red Carpet appearance.Â
The elegant lace designs, created in collaboration with Martina Vidal, have become signature staples in Luisa’s wardrobe. She effortlessly incorporates these timeless pieces into both her formal and leisure wear, showcasing her versatility and love for refined Venetian craftsmanship.Â
Embodying sophistication with a playful edge, Luisa exudes casual chic in her Kainuu grey lambswool coat which she pairs with a little black dress featuring fish skin accents during a sailboat cruise in the lagoon.
Metaphoric of the Marchesa’s symbiotic relationship with the natural world, we are thrilled to introduce the first designs from our new Nativemind lifestyle concept—crafted with organic fish skin leather, lamb, and goat fur. Nativemind by Jasmin Santanen designs redefine modern luxury by harmonizing sustainability with sophistication.
Inspired by a shared vision of zero waste, we have chosen to collaborate with tanner Hanna Nore, an expert in reviving traditional tanning practices. Through methods that honor nature, animals, and the artisans who bring these materials to life, Hanna’s work perfectly aligns with our ethos.
The Marchesa’s passion for mythology and spirits makes her the perfect embodiment of our Nativemind philosophy. By celebrating the richness of ancestral wisdom, we seek to bridge the mythological with the modern—a timeless reflection of luxury in harmony with the natural world.
